Summer of Tech Create Camp
Experience
In 2020 and 2021 I was given the opportunity to participate in Summer of Tech create Camp. I joinned as an engineer in 2020 and as a UX Designer in 2021. During my time at the Summer of Tech Create Camps, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in an intensive, hands-on learning environment that focused on developing practical skills and fostering innovation.

Key Highlights
Collaborative Projects Worked with a diverse team of peers, mentors, and industry professionals. Collaborated on real-world projects, applying user experience design principles to create functional and engaging digital solutions.
Skill Development Enhanced my skills in user research, interaction design, and prototyping. Gained proficiency in tools such as Figma, which I used extensively for designing and iterating on project deliverables. Used git for my first time with mutiple contributors and made use of mutiple api and databases for the first time.
Mentorship and Networking: Received valuable guidance and feedback from experienced mentors in the tech industry. Built a network of contacts, including fellow participants and industry professionals, which as been instrumental in my professional growth.
Problem-Solving and Innovation Engaged in brainstorming sessions and design sprints that encouraged creative problem-solving and innovation. Developed solutions that addressed real user needs and business challenges, showcasing my ability to think critically and design effectively.
Presentation and Communication Presented project outcomes to a panel of industry experts, honing my presentation and communication skills. Articulated design decisions and demonstrated the impact of our solutions on user experience and business goals.
